Northumbrian Water Group has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for water network services contract worth an estimated £17.28 million in total.
The water company is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers to join its framework for water network works and services in the Northumbrian Water Operating Area. The framework will be split in 3 Lots:
Lot 1 - repair and maintenance of the water distribution network - provision of labour gangs (2 man gang complete with Van and tools)
Lot 2 - backfill and first time permanent reinstatement of excavations for NW's repair and maintenance stream work on the water network;
Lot 3 - consequential damage reinstatement - for consequential damage which occurs due to major pipe bursts causing significant damage in the immediate area of the water asset failure
Estimated date of dispatch of invitations to selected candidates to tender or to participate for the framework agreement, which will run for eight years, is 10th February 2020.
